Please excuse the web site, I know it looks terrible, but I thought it was time for an overhaul.  Hopefully I'll be able to update everything soon.

Another update on the last patient.  The patient is well, and recovering.  The surgery went late, the seizure focus was removed around 7pm, so the experiment began pretty late.  Interestingly, the tissue produced spikes, which is very rare for slice experiments on our array.  The tissue did not exhibit a "seizure" during the experiment.  These experiments are really unpredictable, which is what makes them challenging, and interesting.
